The pottery figure of a horse and rider is modeled standing on an oblong base with rounded corners. The underglaze Prattware type colors are sponge decorated on the horse with black and dark maroon. The male rider is modeled wearing a top hat, his attire colored in ochre, brown and light mauve. This large tan-colored horse is a scarce version of its type and is attributed to the Mexborough Pottery in Yorkshire, England.

Dimensions: 8 inches high 8 inches long

Current Condition: Unrestored.
