This piece is a rare version of a Yorkshire pottery cow and calf figure group with an unusual application of the brown spots running glaze on the coats. Similar figures are usually produced with a male or female character in attendance and made as pairs this figure is a probably a single "stand-alone " example. Attribution of makers of these charming figures is to the Mexborough Pottery.
Dimensions: 6 inches high, 6 inches wide, 3.5 inches long
Current Condition: Excellent and professional restoration to horns by the ceramic restorer to the Royal family.
