A largeĀ  English creamware-bodied oval platter with a striking wavy edge basket weave press molded border sponge decorated in yellow, green, and brown oxide colors with lead glaze, possibly Thomas Whiledon. Several shards of this type have been excavated at Whieldon's Site at Fenton Vivian, Stoke upon Trent.

Dimensions: 13 inches high 16 inches long

Current Condition: Some surface wear in accord with age, in good unrestored condition.
