Antique Staffordshire pottery figure of a perched parrot. This rare figure dates to the mid 18th century. The figure is well modelled and has a thick lusterous glaze on a creamware body indicating the work of the famous pottery Thomas Whieldon from Lower Fenton Staffordshire. The pottery figure bears an old Manheim Label which states "Whieldon 1750- guaranteed genuine".
