A Josiah Wedgwood creamware pottery commemorative teapot. The globular body is printed in good-quality black Sadler and Green prints of Liverpool, the portrait titled "Sr G Bridges Rodney Bt Rear Admiral of England." The reverse depicts the naval battle and the defeat of the French off Belle Isle in 1759. The base is indistinctly impressed WEDGWOOD. The portrait of Rodney was published in April 1780 in Westminster Magazine.

Dimensions: 5.5 inches high 8.25 inches long

Current Condition: restored by Conservators to the British Royal Family at the tip of spout and inner rim flange of the pot.
