Dated: 1811 to 1817 Swansea Wales

The pottery jug is an exceptionally rare pearlware glazed piece made at the Swansea Pottery Wales. The jug is decorated with underglaze blue and white prints showing the 15 besants of the Duchy of Cornwall and motifs depicting a tin mine, copper ingots, a fish, and a shield with the Cornish representation "Fish, Tin, and Copper." Decorations also include a scroll with the Cornish motto "ONE & ALL" the rim of the jug has a floral border along with the legend "Success to the trade of the County of Cornwall. The jug was made in the Dillwyn period at the Swansea Works.

Dimensions: 5 inches high

Current Condition: Good condition with no restoration.
