Salt-glazed stoneware teapot colored, decorated with male figure playing the flute whilst standing against trees, the reverse side shows a female figure arms outstretched standing in trees and shrubs.  This specific teapot formed part of the famous Earle Collection of Early English pottery  and is illustrated figure 92A page 22 in the Major's catalog published in 1915.

Dimensions: 4.75 inches high, 8.5 inches wide, 5.5 inches long

Current Condition: Professional and sound restoration to the tip of the spout and at the cover.

Provenance: Previously in The Major Cyril Earle Collection. Private collection of an English Lord. Birkett Collection London. Gentleman in the Home Counties( 3rd July 21)
