Staffordshire figure group with a detailed scene depicting the Baptism of Mary. These table base figures are attributed to Obadiah Sherratt one of a group of major potters operating in Staffordshire England. The pottery figure is well modelled and decorated with enamel colors with a pearlware glaze. These figures are also refered to as a Christening Group.

Dimensions: 8.5 inches high

Current Condition: Some minor restoration.
