The guglet or water bottle is made of white stoneware with a saltglaze and decorated with sprigs in the Chinese-style a popular fashion during the mid 18th century. The piece is very finely potted and made in Staffordshire.
Dimensions: 10 inches high
Current Condition: Small chip restored invisibly at the rim. There is a black piece of Kiln detritus on the base which adhered during the firing process and is an original feature of added interest.
