A fine Staffordshire pottery pearlware theatrical figure of Paul Pry with the title I HOPE I DON'T INTRUDE impressed in the base in black capitals. This quality figure is well modelled standing on green circular base and is a rare version. Note;John Liston a famous comic actor was renown for his portrayal of the meddling busybody Paul Pry with catch phrases such as "I hope I don't intrude" and " Just dropped in". NOTE;also in stock a companion figure from the same group , John Liston in the part of Lubin Log.

Current Condition: Restored tip of brolley.
