The figure of the horse is well modeled with a fine pearlware glaze.The base is interestingly decorated with extruded clay, leaves and flowers specifically attributed to the Wood and Caldwell pottery. A striking large scale piece with timeless decorative appeal, early 19th century from a major English potter.

Current Condition: Good restoration at , ears,tail and minor bracelet hairlines at front legs.
