This pottery pearlware glazed figure engagingly shows a child riding a large dog with the mother or nanny holding the child in case of a fall. This figure, with its striking rococo-shaped base, is one of the best of its type, with complex modeling and well-applied quality enamels. The figure is finely decorated in the round and was never produced with bocage.

Dimensions: 7.5 inches high

Current Condition: Restored at the child's foot and the raised leg of the dog.
