A rare pottery bust of a putto modeled on a square silver luster base. The bust is modeled from a Flemish gesso after il  Fiammingo putto. The pearlware glaze modeling, enamel and silver luster decoration are of the highest quality. This bust is one of the best examples of its type produced by the Staffordshire pottery in the early 19th century
