This piece is modelled with the most spectacular coloured base with well executed figures of a farmer the bull and a rather charming dog. The group is exceptionally well decorated and the subject matter is mitigated by the quality and pleasing rendition of all the figures which provides a more romanticized aspect than most of the figures in this genre. One of the rarest Bull Baiting figures produced in Staffordshire England.
