A rare pottery pearlware glazed figure of a Bactrian camel standing before bocage on a green mounded base. The coat is finely decorated in soft shaded browns, and the facial features are black and red.  

Dimensions: 7.5 inches high

Current Condition: Restored at legs and bocage by the ceramics conservator to the British Royal Family.

Literature: Myrna Schkolne, People, Passions, Pastimes and Pleasures (2006) page 111 illustrates a similar figure.
