This pair of pottery pearlware glazed bocage figures of a cow and a bull harassed by a dog and a cow are rare examples and previously unrecorded in any of the standard references. Made in Staffordshire England in the early 19th century, realistically modeled with movement with well-applied enamel colors.

Dimensions: 7 inches high 6.5 inches long

Current Condition: There is a professional restoration to tail, two horns, snakes head and tips of some leaves.
