A Staffordshire pottery pearlware bocage-type figure of a lion standing on a green oval base, a raised paw resting on a blue sphere. The decorative bocage is a rare type, and the leaf and berry theme is continued on the base. The head is naively modeled and delightfully painted depicting a  humanistic face.

Dimensions: 5.75 inches high 6 inches long

Current Condition: Professional restoration to bocage and the lions tooth
