A rare Staffordshire pottery pearlware figure group of a seated amorous couple with the title Courtship impressed across the base. Interestingly the figure is impressed on the reverse I.DALE BURSLEM and is only the second recorded example known to bear this mark. This group features an unusual rare type of bocage which enhances the decorative appeal.

Current Condition: Some good restoration.
