An exceptionally well modelled and colored figure of a military horse rider. The figure is very detailed and would date from the early 19th century.
Dimensions: 10 inches high
Current Condition: Restored to some enamels which have been re-touched, outstretched arm replaced. bracelet crack at horses ankle,tail and raised leg.Horses ears restored and tip of riders boots.
Literature: Myrna Schkolne Book title "People,Passions,Pastimes and Pleasures staffordshire Figures 1810-35" Page 97 shows a similar figure.
