Description
A fine and appealling pair of Staffordshire pottery figures of spaniel dogs modelled seated on blue bases. The figures are of good quality with attention to detail such as the seperate modelling of the front legs and finely executed decoration to the faces and the coats.The cobalt blue decoration to the base enhances the decorative impact of this charming and regal pair.
The figures are quite early examples fron the 1845/50 Victorian period.
Staffordshire pottery spaniel figures do not get any better than this stunning looking pair.
