Staffordshire pottery pearlware figure group with pine cone bocage from the "Patriot Group" of figures and made in 1820 period England. Figures from this enigmatic pottery are of the highest quality with exceptional enamel decoration and characterful representation of the subject. The figure is known as Persuasion, the male figure offering the ring to his sweetheart whilst the spaniel looks on awaiting her decision. One of the best figures produced in the period.

Dimensions: 8 inches high, 7.5 inches wide, 5.5 inches long

Current Condition: Restoration to leaves and bocage.
