A well modelled and colored antique Staffordshire pottery figure of Wellington. Wellington is modelled leaning against a canon with a flag by his side. It is possible that this figure was modelled by Pierre Stephan who mainly worked for the Derby Factory. Myrna Schkolne the auther of the Book Staffordshire Figures 1810-35 saw a similar figure at the Stoke on Trent Museum in Staffordshire England which was impressed WELLINGTON.
