An amusing Staffordshire pottery figure group of the Dandies, a rare small-scale version full of character and charm. The couple is depicted with serious and proud expressions, a counterpoint to the frivolity of their attire. The figures are well decorated in enamel colors; the Dandizette bonnet is a tribute to the potter's skill.  

Dimensions: 8 inches high

Current Condition: Restored at the neck of female figure by conservators of ceramics to the British Royal family.

Provenance: Private Collection Channel Islands
