Staffordshire figure of a standing lion on a faux marble base. Probably emanates from the Wood family of potters based in Staffordshire. The figure has a pearlware glaze and a wonderful feature is the mouth of the noble beast which has been given extra attention to detail. The figure is imposing 12 inches long.

Dimensions: 12 inches high, 9.5 inches wide, 6 inches long

Current Condition: Restored at base and tail
