A rare pottery figure of a ewe with tortoiseshell oxides colors and a band of circles indents along the base leading to a Thomas Whieldon attribution Staffordshire England. The hollow base is dry-bodied, and the lead glaze is of the highest quality of the period.

Current Condition: No restoration with only very minor nibbles at the base commensurate with age,
