Two Staffordshire pottery figures, glazed pearlware, and enamel-colored candlesticks emanate from Ralph Wood Pottery. The group with the male and female couple with a bird and bird cage is known as "Liberty and Matrimony." The companion figure features a gentleman piper with a shepherdess, a lamb, a goat, and a dog. A delightful and engaging pair capturing idyllic moments.  

Dimensions: 11.5 inches high

Current Condition: Restored by Conservator of Ceramics to the British Royal Family. BIRD CAGE FIGURE, some bocage, sconse,and swans neck. SHEPHERDESS AND PIPER some bocage, tip of flute.
