A rare pearlware pottery figure group of a marraige. The Parson stands holding bible in hand whilst the clerk prays, the joyous bride and groom stand together ready to exchange the wedding ring.The bocage is from the "anthemion group" and is especially attractive with the flowers nestled in the branches with a large blue flower issuing from the centre of the tree trunk. The high quality glaze and the verdant green enamal decoartion are strong features of this group.
