This Staffordshire pottery pearlware bocage type figure group is formed as a spill vase. The piece features a delightful male and female couple dressed in Eastern clothes standing with a leopard prowling under the tree, the hollow trunk intended to hold spill tapers. This fine figure of exotic entertainers is exceptionally rare.

Dimensions: 5 inches high

Current Condition: Professional restoration to leopards paw and tail and to the tip of some leaves
