A fine example of a Staffordshire pottery pearlware figure of Abraham offering his son Isaac. Several figures with this theme were produced, this example is one of the best produced in the early part of the 19th century by the Staffordshire potters. The attention to detail and the fine enamel colouring render this a top quality figure.
