The red lion is modeled standing with a paw resting on a yellow sphere while standing on a green, orange, black, and yellow base. The beast of the jungle is fashioned with teeth showing in what should be a fierce grimace, which the Staffordshire potters have engagingly and naively turned into a wide smile. The figure is attributed to  Obadiah Sherratt.  

Dimensions: 6 inches high 6 inches long

Current Condition: Tail restored.
