The pearlware model of the lion is well executed with quality enamel decoration. The bocage is delightfully decorated with yellow and red multi-petal flowers. The lion stands on a green grassy base also decorated with similar flowers . The animal's front leg is over a yellow ball, probably inspired by the Medici Lion. A rare and engaging figure.

Current Condition: Minor restoration at bocage and tail
