Staffordshire pottery bust of the methodist preacher the reverend John Wesley. John Wesley was one of the most influential men of his time. His legacy survives to this day through the Methodist Church.Many versions were made depicting Wesley and this particular example is amongst the best ever produced. The modelling and decoration of Wesley's head is amongst the best I have seen.
