This Staffordshire pottery bocage type pearlware glazed figure of a standing ewe and lamb is from the Tunstall Group. It is unusually colored and decorated with good attention to detail, one of the rarer versions of this figure.

Current Condition: Minor restoration, professional and invisible.

Provenance: Private collection of a couple in Wiltshire England

Literature: Page 204 Figure ref 131.76 Volume 3 Staffordshire Figures 1780-1840 by Myrna Schkolne shows a similar example in the standard color palette.
