The wine bottle is "onion shaped" with a short tapering neck. The squatly formed body has a deep kick-in base. The surface has remarkably beautiful iridescence resulting naturally from being buried in the ground or emerged in water for a long time. The bottle was previously in the private collection of the late Jonathan Horne.
