Circular shape slipware earthenware dish press molded with a figure on horseback brandishing a musket and sword enhanced with dark brown and chestnut slip against a cream colored ground. The formal rouletted border inside the pie crust rim is an added decorative feature of this exceptionally rare and stunning example of English slipware.

Current Condition: Unrestored, with some surface wear commensurate with age
