An exceptionally rare slipware earthenware miniature chest with six removable drawers, the shaped apron at the base is inscribed Miss S Thomas 1861. The piece is to scale and is very realistically modeled. It was probably intended as a toy, perhaps a birthday gift for Miss Thomas. The chest of drawers is attributed to the Buckley Pottery located in North Wales.

Dimensions: 10.25 inches high, 6 inches wide, 11.25 inches long

Current Condition: Professionally restored at the corner of one drawer.
