This silver-resist lusterware pottery jug is decorated with a compelling naive-spotted dog and a long-horned cow standing in shrubbery and flowers. Made at the Staffordshire or Yorkshire potteries in the early 19th century.  

Dimensions: 4.75 inches high

Current Condition: Very good condition with no restoration.

Provenance: Previously with Howards of Aberystwyth (c1980) and then with a private collector located in France.
