A pottery pitcher decorated with silver luster and underglaze tavern-related mottos extolling customers to pay up for their drinks, " I do not know which man to trust" and The Maltster doth crave ." The pitcher has a pearlwarec glaze and dates to the c1815 period made in Staffordshire or possibly Yorkshire.

Dimensions: 4.6 inches high

Current Condition: Unrestored clean condition with only minor signs of wear related to age.
