A rare large scale Galle pottery figure of a seated hare with glass eyes. The figure is very naturally modelled and is of exceptional quality as one would expect from Emille Galle. The figure bears the signature "GALLE NANCY" on the back of the grassy decorated base. There is a small vase integral to the figure on the reverse which could be used for a display of dried flowers and twigs.
Dimensions: 13.75 inches high
Current Condition: Professional restoration, right ear and vase,chip at tail some minor touching in of enamels.
