A rare Scratch-Blue decorated saltglaze loving cup with incised images of flowers and foliage. Made in Staffordshire in the mid 18th century. The unglazed underside of the base has an inscription in script with the names " Walter Emery and Hannah Simpson," they were most likely gifted or commissioned the piece all those years ago.

Dimensions: 6.25 inches high, 10.75 inches wide, 7.5 inches long

Current Condition: Two hairlines at body well restored, (invisible).
