A large stoneware salt-glazed jug with an image of a hand-painted bird in cobalt blue. The rim of the jug is impressed in capitals JOHN WARR, TROY,NY, and the numeral 2 and is in very good condition. NOTE; John Warr (Image attached) ran a grocery family store that also sold fine wines and teas located in the city of Troy in the state of New York and situated on the eastern bank of the Hudson River.

Current Condition: Good condition with no restorations.
