This rare English pearlware pottery bocage figure of a large ram on base is attributed to the Leather Leaf Group of Staffordshire Potters. The figure is large-scale and matches item reference 7010 on this website. Remarkably the two figures now make an extraordinary pairing, a unique and satisfying occurrence to connect them once again. The Hunt Collection titled Holding the Past illustrates a similar piece with a different base.
