Staffordshire pottery creamware bodied colour glaze figure of a male gardener. The man stands on a rocky base holding a spade in his right hand and a plant pot in his left. He is modelled leaning against a pedestal with a fountain head at its base. The modelling is exceptional and the colour glazes of green, blue and yellow are all classic features of Ralph Woods craftsmanship.

Dimensions: 8.5 inches high

Current Condition: Restored spade and at the left arm.

Provenance: With a gentleman Collector in the Home Counties.
