Staffordshire pottery pearlware figure of a standing snarling lion with a snake coiled in the bocage branches. The figure is from "The Leather leaf group" and is featured in the Myrna Schkolne book Volume 3 titled Staffordshire Figures page 156.

Dimensions: 7.5 inches high

Current Condition: Restored at snakes head and some leaves

Provenance: Wynnn A Sayman Richmond Mass.USA and US Collector.
