Emille Galle signed pottery figure of a black cat with glass eyes. The Galle Nancy signature is executed in blue under the paws of the cat. Cats can often be seen in this style which was often copied. The rare original Galle pieces have ,however, never been surpassed for style, comedy, quality and artistic presence.
