A rare antique English pottery creamware teapot decorated with hearts and swags with an inscription " A DOUBLE HEART THERE PART THEY MAKE WHEN LOVERS ACT". The teapot has a double entwined strap handle with foliate terminals.

Dimensions: 5 inches high, 7.75 inches wide

Current Condition: Cover restored.

Provenance: Jan Struther Antiques Edinburgh 1969 and then in Sharow Hall Collection Ripon til 2014.
