A rare tankard decorated in underglaze blue. This rare piece is decorated with a naively executed image wishing "Success to Brave Rooney(Rodney)" and a couple seated drinking tea which is named and dated William and Mary Firth 1781. The base of the tankard also bears the names in script Wm Firth and Rodney.
