An exceptional Staffordshire pottery table base figure group "Obadiah Sherratt". The figure is very strongly decorated in enamel colours, full of live and of social significance from the early 19th century. Several figures were produced relating to Bull Baiting,( the "sport" was banned in England in 1835) the Sherratt table base group is perhaps the most iconic.

Dimensions: 11 inches high, 14 inches wide

Current Condition: Some good professional restorations
