A fine, handsome and rare prattware pottery commemorative relief moulded pitcher celebrating Nelson and Britannia. The relief moulded cartouches of Nelson, a man of war under sale, Britannia with lion flanked by a hussar and foot soldier are spectacular with crisp and good detail. There is extra detail at the top border of military insignia of trophies of war with flags, drums, spears sabres and cannon. The underglaze colour application of pratt colours is exceptional.
