Antique English creamware pottery tankard in very fine condition commemorating Admiral Nelson. The underglaze transfer print of Nelson is well executed and decorated with coloured enamels. The image of Nelson is idealized to a point beyond recognition which gives this commemorative added interest. The tankard is probably the work of one of the potteries in the North East of England.
